Lower Body BLAST! <--- a MUST do workout!
Wow! This picture was from almost two years ago … but I couldn’t help using it! I absolutely love when my daughter wants to work out with me <3
My legs are the HARDEST muscle group to work. Not because they are weak, but because they are the last muscle group to respond to change. So, of course, I am always looking to switch up my workouts.
I went to the gym yesterday with my workout written down and this morning my legs were like WOAH! (in a Joey Lawrence voice!) And you know how much I love sharing fun ideas with you … so here is my workout.
Back Squats:: 2 warm up sets with just the bar – – 3 working sets, 10 – 12 reps per set
Inverted Leg Press:: 2 warmup sets with lighter weight – – 3 working sets, 10 reps per set, concentrating on negatives
Walking Lunges:: 3 X 12 / leg – – each round is 24 total steps – – add weight if you can
Split Squats:: 3 X 10 / leg – – box or bench should be about knee height
Wt’d Step Ups:: 3 X 20 / leg – – box or bench should be about knee height
Take a :45 – :60 rest between sets.

Don’t have a gym membership, don’t worry! You can do this workout at home incorporating your little one as a weight or using a weighted object that is comfortable for you!
